Dead Funny Sunset

Dead Funny

Blending dark comedy with magical realism, Dead Funny follows lifelong best friends Paul and Jake after an awkward angelic mishap leaves them lost in limbo before their time.

 

Rooted in the landscapes of Nidderdale, the film explores friendship, grief, fear and hope as the boys face the unknown, while the people who love them most believe this is the end and begin to grieve a life without them.

Sweetheart: Angel of the Moor

 

A historical short drama inspired by the true story of Mary-Jane Skaife, whose death on the Yorkshire moors in 1858 became one of the region’s most haunting forgotten tragedies.

 

Blending historical realism with subtle folkloric atmosphere, the film explores memory, love, violence, and the enduring presence of the landscape itself.
